Multilingual storefronts: selling one product in three markets

Dropping your English store into Google Translate and calling it a German site is a fast way to look untrustworthy. Shoppers notice when copy is machine-made, when the currency is wrong, or when delivery promises don’t match local expectations.

Real localisation goes past language. It means local payment methods, region-appropriate delivery and returns, pricing that respects local norms, and trust signals that make sense in that market. The product may be identical; the storefront around it should not be.

Get this right and one product can carry three markets. Get it wrong and you pay for traffic that never converts.
