Pre-shipment inspection: the cheapest insurance you can buy

Once your goods leave the factory, your leverage evaporates. Defects discovered after payment and shipment become your problem to solve, at your cost, in your market. Discovered on the line, they are the factory’s problem to fix — while the goods are still in their hands.

A pre-shipment inspection samples finished goods against an agreed checklist and gives you a documented pass or fail before you release the balance payment. The cost is a rounding error against a container of unsellable stock.

The point isn’t distrust. It’s that a clear standard, checked independently, keeps everyone honest and protects the relationship as much as the shipment.
